1. Agreement to Terms

By connecting to and using ChaosChat ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Platform.

2. Eligibility & Age Restriction

CRITICAL RULE: You must be at least 18 years of age to access ChaosChat. Access by minors under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited and constitutes a violation of these Terms. By clicking accept, you confirm you meet the legal age requirements.

3. Anonymous Use & Session IDs

ChaosChat is an anonymous, peer-to-peer video communication platform. There are no user sign-ups, accounts, or profiles. We identify users solely via anonymous session tokens stored locally on your device to enforce queue and safety rules.

4. Prohibited Content & User Conduct

To maintain a safe community, you represent and warrant that you will NOT display, transmit, or engage in:

  • Nudity, pornography, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive material.
  • Harassment, bullying, hate speech, slurs, or threats of violence.
  • Self-harm, illegal acts, or drug abuse.
  • Commercial advertising, spam, links to third-party services, or phishing attempts.
  • Bypassing or attempting to bypass camera enforcement rules (such as using virtual cams or fake repeated loop streams).

5. Camera Enforcement & Grace Policy

ChaosChat utilizes a rigorous real-time camera validation system. If your camera feed drops, goes blank, or is toggled off while matched, you have exactly 6 seconds to restore it before the match is dissolved, you are flagged as losing, and return to lobby setup.

6. Moderation & Bans

Reports from other users are reviewed automatically. If your session ID receives 3 guidelines reports within a rolling window, your IP and session will be temporarily banned from accessing the queue. We reserve the right to suspend or block any user at our absolute discretion.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is". We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability. We shall not be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Platform.
